I slept for 8 hours and and you are still posting..  It defies biology

On a side note, the beauty of being asian is that I don't need to shave. Ever.

I never tried e-shavers. How are they, compared to the fancy Gilette?
I have delicate, girly skin, as seen in my avatar.

Hey hey Ripster, no need to be posting pictures of me, we all know you're jealous of that chin beard.

I shave using safety razors as well. It's manly and saves the world! Cheaper too.
I would try a straight razor but they're hard to get over here :(

I use this

used to be something like $250 and recently dropped to $195 so I picked up a set, I have rather scarce facial hair so I have to stick with these manual razors, not a bad thing.

Straight razors, twin blades, safety razors....HOLY ****! I gave up on the "closest shave possible" years ago and am much happier for it. I'm good with Brauns. I do the DIY mix without the foo-foo and no probs after 5 years. I tried the "wet and dry" electric shavers, but they need to be cleaned pretty much after each shave.

BACK TO EXCELLENT BOOBS!

I've been using a Remington R-9500 for years now. Like most other electric shavers, the cleaning system is a joke.

BUT at least it still gives me a decent shave.

I have a Braun Series 7 and it's meh.  Cleaner reloads are a pain and the blades seem to get dull fast.  I think electric razors used to be made better, these days it seems like they never do a good job, I've tried both the high end Norelcos and now the Brauns.  Shaving cream is kind of an annoying mess though too so I don't think I'll go back to the manual type.

Like German cars.  Packed with so much technology that when it works it works well.   But packed with so much technology the working part is rare.

Maybe next razor I try will have Japanese engineering and manufacturing.
I went with a simple Philips (50 Euro class) 7 years ago, still works...
Wanted to replace the blades, but it seems they learned from printer producers, a set of replacement blades costs 45 Euros!

This thread is full of Lulz. But seriously, a straight razor is the way to go. Sure it takes some practice before you learn not to remove half your face, but in the end it is the best shave you can get. Plus its simple, it won't break, and you can sharpen it whenever it needs it. Easily the last razor you would ever need to buy. If you can't get the hang of it, find a real barber in your area. It's still worth the cost, even if only as a special 'treat' to yourself.

I guess thats one of those famous redneck trucks!

A friend of mine - he's living in chicago  - just told me a few days ago some jokes about those rednecks:

How can you tell if a Redneck is married?  - There is dried chewing tobacco on both sides of his pickup truck.
What do you have when you have 32 Rednecks in the same room? - A full set of teeth.
A new law recently passed in Redneckville: When a couple gets divorced, they’re still brother and sister.
Did you hear about the Redneck who passed away and left his entire estate in trust for his beloved widow? - She can’t touch it until she’s fourteen.
What’s the most popular pick-up line for a Redneck?  - “Nice tooth.”

Btw he told me that this is quite possibly one of the best games he has ever played:

In the Game of Redneck Life the winner is the player with the most teeth remaining at the end of the game. Yes this is a real game. It’s similar to the regular game of Life except instead of becoming a doctor or lawyer you become a Mullet Salon Operator, Taxidermist or Monster Truck Announcer. Instead of children you have young-uns. You get married, divorced, remarried and inherit a bunch of step kids all named Darryl.

Back to topic .. razors .... from a money and/or green viewpoint this sounds even more interesting than that chinese razor mentioned above

I bought the Norelco SensoTouch 3D, and it's a pretty good razor; you can use shave gel with it as well.  When I was on vacation, I picked up a Remington block and foil razor just as something cheap for travel.  It turns out that I really like the Remington; I use it more than my Norelco now, and I certainly like it more than the Brauns I had.
