Looks suspiciously like geekhack with a new theme...
-
It's acfrazier
-
Same backend. It also uses vB4.
Sooo... What's the point? Why not just use GH?
-
... the lego pics still do entertain me.
-
Mad scientists love the white hhkb! ;D
-
Hahaha, this is a pathetic attempt destined to fail!
-
Deskthority was created by real European keyboard fanatics for Europeans, yet it's the most boring forum ever.
-
Also I hate the idea of power hungry moderators.
-
Starting to talk about moderation before starting to talk about contents and users isn't usually a good idea...
-
RiGS brought up moderation before acfrazier did.
-
I just tried to figure out the idea behind a geekhack copycat.
If you are genuinely looking to make a good community - my apologies. Goodluck.
-
Yes but I haven't mentioned acfraizer.
Was a general consideration
This place is (was ?) a nice place not (just) because the technical level but because the light moderation, and the not boring discussions.
In both of them Ripster is (was ?) more than involved.
And frankly i find a bit disgusting that until two months ago no one had the balls to argue with him, now are all acting as vultures flying around an unhealthy beast.
A bit of balance would be nice.
Now looks like that the purpose of this new forum is to "address" the main advantages of GH, maybe I'm wrong but...
-
You imply that our moderation staff will be power hungry. You also imply I am not a real keyboard fanatic.
Honestly, I agree. You've displayed a tendency to be irrational and vindictive when angry. Not something a prospective owner/moderator of a forum can really afford to be.
Not trying to be offensive, just making observations.
-
If that's so, at least it's only when he's angry, and not all-the-flipping-time like others I've seen in the few short days I've been reading this forum.
-
Well, I will give acfrazier a "Good Luck" for his forum and hope he uses wisdom when dealing with crazy people (which is nearly everyone).
-
If that's so, at least it's only when he's angry, and not all-the-flipping-time like others I've seen in the few short days I've been reading this forum.
True, but that's why I said "Not something a prospective owner/moderator of a forum can really afford". When running a forum or website, you have a different set of responsibilities than the average user of said site. That is, you do if you want any decent amount of users.
-
They said that about Deskthority too.

Man those guys sure like Levitra with their clicky keyboards!

Best of luck for the new endeavour.

Is this some kind of troll attempt from the IRC crowd? :/
-
Is this some kind of troll attempt from the IRC crowd? :/
Nope.
P.S. There is no 'IRC crowd', only individuals who discuss things in channels on IRC. Suggesting that anyone on IRC belongs to some sort of anomalous entity is disingenuous at best.

Ain't you smart. I think it's pretty obvious I was referring to the individuals frequenting the geekhack IRC channel.

As was I.

What was I thinking by calling a bunch of individuals a group.
-
There's a group of European individuals at this place called DeskThority.

I heard it's a good movie.
-

You and your stupid "words" with "definitions" - you're not fooling anybody!
-
Yes, but by saying 'IRC crowd' you imply that it is a group, not a bunch of individuals which is the case.
Splitting hairs. A group by definition is a bunch of individuals.
-
... are considered or classed together... individuals (i.e. not associated with one another)
Except that they all have something in common: they hang out in IRC. Hence, a group.
-
Splitting hairs. A group by definition is a bunch of individuals.
Wilful semantic deception aside, the point, which I'm sure you (daerid) would agree with, is that individuals who are in the #geekhack or #keyboardscience IRC channel on Freenode do not have a cohesive, unified agenda by any means - as some people have (perhaps unintentionally) portrayed.
-
I agree to stop grouping up people on irc. Remember that iMav comes by the irc too.
This new board is the venture of a single geekhacker who wants a geekhack that he can control.
-

As a general rule, I would agree about the agenda, except perhaps the agenda to hang out in chat rooms talking about keyboards (and sometimes to e-stalk Ripster). My point is that there's something in common. And any time you have something in common with several individuals, you can group/classify those individuals by that which they have in common, and all of a sudden you have a group.
-
...This new board is the venture of a single geekhacker who wants a geekhack that he can control.
Actually, it's a venture of several geekhackers that want a KEYBOARD forum in which they can talk about KEYBOARDS with some form of moderation so we don't all have to live in fear of being trolled if we disagree. Myself and others have already contributed to the formation of this new community and I for one stand behind acfrazier and anyone else who's enthusiastic about Keyboard Science.

First of all, despite my dislike for circular discussions of the scope and denotative limits of specific words (linguistics student here) I'm going to have to point out that having something in common, i.e. an interest in keyboards, is not equivalent to having an agenda, e.g. a desire to denigrate Ripster or a desire to edify dracaXL (please do this). Conflating the two by implying talking about keyboards is equivalent to a dislike of Ripster is, as I said before disingenuous. Correlation is not causation.
To disagree with this point is to say you are fine with the assumption that you (as part of the IRC crowd) are part of keyboardscience.org and #keyboardscience as much as #geekhack, and this site is a troll orchestrated in part by yourself? Of course not. That was the original point, not the specific definition of 'group'. The implication of HaveANiceDay's (no offence to you at all, Sir, I'm sure it was unintentional) post was that all of #geekhack created a new forum solely for the purpose of trolling (which is of course not the case).

This is a keyboard forum where people talk about keyboards. The ripster mess only takes up maybe 4 or 5 threads that you can completely avoid. Don't give me a bull**** answer.
Bottom line is you want a forum that is a duplicate of this one minus a couple posters that you don't get along with. Its really silly.

This is the only time I'm going to say this but...
I'm no veteran here myself and I flat out know it. Almost all the people causing all this drama joined the forum around when I did or later. Hell, Brian, you don't even own a mechanical keyboard but you're hopping on here joining up with these guys who, all I've seen in the past week, do nothing but cause drama. You joined this forum 4 days ago and now you're trying to start a splinter group somewhere else?
Haha, man this is just all sad. GH has been around before this pathetic drama and it'll be around after. If you're going to leave at least do it instead of trying to poach people or whatever it is you people are doing.
I'm out.

Sorry if I ask, but you, started just yesterday a discussion involving a k120 and now, after 20 messages, and 24 h of time you are already bored about this forum and want to start something better ?

Of course Geekhack will still be around. That won't stop me from joining keyboard science or continuing to be a member of deskthority. These forums aren't mutually exclusive. Choice is important. I don't necessarily agree with you regarding the causes of 'drama' at Geekhack but I understand the sentiments - they're very similar to what happened when deskthority started up.

Hey, there's always ykbds (http://ykbds.com)! You are all invited to post semi-ripster free, because he isn't quite sure how imageboards work.
There's also clickykeyboards like noodles said. Its encrypted with spam so ripster can't see the real posts.

I agree with this. I wish them luck if it gets up and running, I guess. If it diversifies and enriches the world of keyboards, so be it. I just don't see the space for it right now. I entirely missed the offending thread that seemed to create a lot of this drama (luckily) and all I've seen after is equal drama from both sides. It just makes me sad. A month ago this forum seemed so casual and intelligent now there's all these sad threads with many great members on both sides of the fence fighting.

Its an imageboard. The purpose is similar to a message board- discussion. On the main site you see a truncated view of every thread. This is the first post and then the latest few posts below it. You click the view link to see the entire thread, and to reply to that thread. If you want to make a new thread you submit the form at the top while on the main page, and if you want to reply to a thread you submit the form while viewing a thread.
For an example of an active imageboard you can take a look at 4chan, although the majority of posts are trolling and humor.

I'm in the irc every day and I think this new forum idea is silly. So do others in the channel. Why don't you stop by for more than 10 minutes and see?

Starting a forum and having it develop, have a reputation, become established, and still be desirable takes a fair amount of planning, work, and good luck. The forum is mostly about the people that post, less the total amount of moderation/direction. Interestingly Geekhack has little if any of the moderation aspect, but it has worked due in part to the anchor members of the site that have maintained the quality and direction. Of course nothing is perfect. Since there is little moderation/direction, unfortunately there have been and will be flare ups with 30 day periods of *******s and elbows knocking each other around. It's been my experience that these "newcomers" that cause 99% of the problems, ultimately leave because they become bored, don't get the quick and easy respect they're looking for, or really are about the drama and trying to flex on the board because they can't in real life. It's a stupid guy thing. We all do it, the goal is to try and minimize it within yourself as much as possible. Otherwise you're just another prick.
So please go and start "your" forum. Make it exactly the way you want. The more the merrier! Hopefully you love it, it's everything you want it to be, crazy drama, or keyboards, or whateva. I assume your negative presence here will come to a stop (I doubt it, Geekhack is the premier keyboard site, so everyone one knows you will be checking in daily, no matter how much you deny it). You'll probably be talking about Geekhack on your site, just like kids in 6th grade...because that's exactly how you act here...like 6th graders. Who knows, with a lot of planning, work, and good luck, maybe your forum will be what Geekhack was before you got here...the best damn keyboard site in the world.
I wish you well, don't let the keyboard smack you in the ass on your way out.

Ironically you're falling victim to the very 'stupid guy' mentality you're describing in this very post. How 'meta'! It's easy to spout off black and white divisions between 'old' and 'new' members, between ego and altruism and so on and so forth. It's not easy however, to refrain from making assumptions about people who choose to leave an established group _or_ coexist happily with others (as I do with deskthority, geekhack, etc). Just because it's a new forum, does not make it an alterity. It's not something to be feared or something to be put down. Hell, even iMav has said - on the IRC - that he loves new keyboard forums. As you said, 'the more the merrier'.
-
I just want to clarify that first, me being new to this forum does not make me new to the world, new to the internet, or new to online communities. I have seen several of these types of communities fall due to infighting, and some of the most popular ones today started the very same way that Keyboard Science has started. Some members think they'd like things another way, and go off on their own to try it.
As for the drama, I saw *zero* drama concerning Keyboard Science until people here on Geek Hack started bashing it.
I am interested in Keyboard Science because the members of the IRC channel provided a great deal of helpful information. Why is it an issue that I should want to join a forum they created?

in other news, i recently heard shinee's old song ring

You can talk as eloquently as you desire, but it won't make this statement true.
When members of the channel are in disagreement, what more proof would you need? Please answer this question, as I would very much enjoy a good cat chase.

I didn't intend to try and separate "old/new" etc, etc...or even making any assumptions about other keyboard sites.
---My frustration purely is with some people on Geekhack, not discussing the topics, acting like children fighting, and refusing to be a cohesive part of the community---
Why would I not support another keyboard site? No reason not to. I like spreading interest around. Different forums with different focus for different people. Perfect. Find the one that fits you best, everyone should do exactly that. More forums, more choices.
Not. That. Complicated.
-

Conflating the two by implying talking about keyboards is equivalent to a dislike of Ripster is, as I said before disingenuous. Correlation is not causation.
Never said it was. I was making a quaint anecdote about the frequency in which Ripster is picked on in IRC. Nothing more. I wasn't defining the group in those terms. The point I was making, is that there is something in common with those who are on IRC, namely that they are on IRC. As such, they can be classified as a group.
To disagree with this point is to say you are fine with the assumption that you (as part of the IRC crowd) are part of keyboardscience.org and #keyboardscience as much as #geekhack, and this site is a troll orchestrated in part by yourself? I wasn't talking about trolling at all. I was arguing against acfrazier's assertion that the people in IRC were not a group, which I was trying to point out was technically inaccurate.

I must have missed a lot of drama.
Why would anyone piss off a member with 37k posts, most of which including original Lego pictures, who has essentially been the soul of this forum for some time?
-
I must have missed a lot of drama.
Why would anyone piss off a member with 37k posts, most of which including original Lego pictures, who has essentially been the soul of this forum for some time?
Because some (very few) people are scum-buckets.
-
Yeah, I missed it all too.
All I've seen is the aftermath which has been showing up in plenty of threads.
This stuff plus the "mech keyboards are a scam" and "my rubber dome logitech is teh best keybard evr" type threads...
-

Me too and I'm old enough to understand that, usually, bypassing a forum with an alternate media insetead of openly discussing the problems is not the best way to start, nor the most respectful way to the other users.
As for the drama, I saw *zero* drama concerning Keyboard Science until people here on Geek Hack started bashing it.
I am interested in Keyboard Science
Usually "science" imply an open mind and discussion about facts, more than about brands, trends and so on. The way the RD argument is usually managed here has nothing to do with science, I'm really curious to see if this new forum want to address this lack of openness, even If I'm afraid that the purpose goes exactly in the opposite direction.
Why is it an issue that I should want to join a forum they created?
Because a couple of days, usuallly are not enough to understand a forum, and its own strengths or weakness.
-
Different (key)strokes for different folks. Keyboard Science will either succeed or it won't, but I think its creation, either in this form or another, by the people involved or by others, was to some degree inevitable. And potentially, it could be to the benefit of both that site and this one.
-
Most successful and coveted endeavors have spin offs (movies, companies, inventions, etc). Spin offs, like the predecessors, are either successful or not, usually for different reasons than the predecessor. Sometimes they compete, usually not. Increased options and diversity is always a good thing in my view. Hard to see a downside. It's cool to be a part of something that is growing, not dying.
-
...I'm really curious to see if this new forum want to address this lack of openness, even If I'm afraid that the purpose goes exactly in the opposite direction.
To what lack of openness are you referring? There's nothing that suggests Keyboard Science will quell opinion, unless that opinion is laced with derogatory, hurtful comments.
Because a couple of days, usuallly are not enough to understand a forum, and its own strengths or weakness.
I've been reading this forum for a few weeks now, and only recently decided to register. The trolltastic Logitech K120 thread, among several other threads I've read, nearly scared me away from registering on GeekHack. Frankly, now I wish I hadn't registered and had waited a couple more days to see Keyboard Science be born. Then I probably would have just registered there and left this place to continue tearing itself apart.
-

Who gets to decide that? It's always opinion, whether it's the one you're trying to quell, or the one that things that some comments are derogatory or hurtful. But remember, others may not see it so. That's the beauty of free speech. And here's a MIND F**K: You can IGNORE PEOPLE! Try it sometime.

Then seriously, why are you here? We don't want anybody here who doesn't want to be. No need to make it a big deal. Go enjoy your other forum, if this one is so horrible.
-
To what lack of openness are you referring?
The example are endless, try to argue about calling capacitive switch a capacitive sensor, try to argue about good keyboards even if not mechanical, try to suggest anything but topre or filcos.
Most of the discussion here have nothing to do with technology, nor with science. So I'm just asking myself if the new forum is meant to have a more balanced approach or if is meant to silence the few voices out of the crowd. Given the moment the new forum is started I'm afraid the latter is more likely, but this is (obviously) just a guess.
The trolltastic Logitech K120 thread, among several other threads I've read, nearly scared me away from registering on GeekHack.
I'm afraid we found trollastic that thread for opposite reasons. Likely you are referring to the title, while I'm referring to the completely unmotivated attacs to the OP since the first reply.
BTW trollastic or not is still an useful tread, where one can compare opposite opinions, and from this POV is way more useful than the usual, pointless "I want a Filco - Good Choice !!!"
Frankly, now I wish I hadn't registered and had waited a couple more days to see Keyboard Science be born. Then I probably would have just registered there and left this place to continue tearing itself apart.
Are you aware that comparing a well known entity with a non existent one, is meaningless ? Wait 6 months and see what happen, ATM your sentence looks just unrespectful for this place, no matter how good or bad this place is.
-
Frankly, now I wish I hadn't registered and had waited a couple more days to see Keyboard Science be born. Then I probably would have just registered there and left this place to continue tearing itself apart.
Unregister.
You have that option here. This is not the Army. No one will prevent you, or charge you credit card for canceling.
-
Since this post isn't about keyboards, should it be moved to Off Topic?
-
Alright, I'll take the troll bait. You guys are threatened by Keyboard Science, or you wouldn't be responding to it so harshly. You are worried that users will abandon Geek Hack and go there, where you can't "speak your mind" by slandering others, and where your huge post counts here will mean nothing. Saying that this new forum will fail is just your own insecurity manifesting itself in attacks. If it does, are you going to be *happy?* Are you going to feel a sense of pride, that you "predicted" something? Are you going to be glad that "your" forum reigned "supreme?" (even though they're entirely separate forums and people can be registered on both at the same time, and Keyboard Science, whether you believe it or not, was *NOT* created to compete with Geek Hack)
I don't even know why I'm defending Keyboard Science so much. I guess because I thought it was a good idea, and went with it, and you *******s attacked it without good cause. My counterattacks against Geek Hack were mostly in defense of Keyboard Science. But frankly, YOU *******s are still here, and AREN'T on Keyboard Science. So *that's* where I want to be.
And I looked for an "Unregister" option. Can't find it. Would if I could. This is my last post. And I hope my outrage has made you all smile, proven you're "better" than me, and increased the size of your manhood.
-
Alright, I'll take the troll bait.
So will I :)
You guys are threatened by Keyboard Science, or you wouldn't be responding to it so harshly.
Could actually care less, honestly. Just doesn't make sense to me that somebody would stick around here if they didn't like GeekHack, unless it was to stir **** up.
You are worried that users will abandon Geek Hack and go there, where you can't "speak your mind" by slandering others, and where your huge post counts here will mean nothing.
Nope. No worries at all. See above point.
No, I'm saying it will fail based on previous observation of such behavior:
1) Users whine and complain that there's too much trolling (AKA: You hurt my feelings *wah* *wah*)
2) Users create new forum where "everything will be better" because they can moderate it and keep it on topic

4) Forum turns into a GHOST TOWN because of rampant abuse of power and regulation
If you really didn't want anything to do with GH, and preferred KS, then you wouldn't even bother being here. Obviously you like the drama and your participation in it. If you truly, truly believed that KS was better than GH, why feel the need to defend it? Just ignore us and go have fun at KS.
And I looked for an "Unregister" option. Can't find it. Would if I could. This is my last post. And I hope my outrage has made you all smile, proven you're "better" than me, and increased the size of your manhood.
It hasn't. I can guarantee you that I, along with most of the rest of us, will forget about you... probably in a matter of hours.
But have fun at Keyboard Science. It will probably be great while it lasts.
PS: There is no "Unregister" option. It would screw things up in the database if accounts were able to be deleted (at least, that's how I understand vBulletin). I'm sure you can PM iMav though and have him lock it down with a random password so you can avoid the temptation to jump in back here and tell us that we're all douchebags and *******s.

Your avatar is SINISTER.
Let's talk about THAT for a while. It's a helluva lot more interesting.

Why thank you. I can't take credit for it though. It's a fairly common image of the Alien. I actually have it tattooed on my right forearm :-X

I know. I have it tattooed on my ****. You never heard girls scream like that before.

Leave. You posted 4 times and then continued drama and have never even touched a mechanical keyboard. Bye.

Relax, he's too busy on his knees balancing a beer on his head and sucking Alien **** to be trolling....
-
Yea, that last one is pretty nasty. lol
Interesting observation: I think I know why people just keep hammering things so mercilessly. Once you start, there are no boundaries and no particular reason to stop. I've only discovered this in the last 48 hours after dabbling in the gutter with the uber-trolls.
EDIT---I deleted that post, it was pretty bad, and crossed over and became a little too personal. I meant to say something stupid, which I did, but not make it quite so icky...which I also did.
I **** up sometimes. But I admit it and correct the behavior. Sorry to Brian and the community.

Guys.
Guys seriously.
Seriously.
Guys.
Look at this thread, and you will see why there was a need for Keyboard Science.
Dude I wish you guys the best of luck. I checked it out the first day and obviously there wasn't much there but I'll keep periodically checking back. If there's something of interest I'll totally be there! I have nothing against KS honestly. It seems...strange to me. But if you guys get up and running I'll contribute what I can in a helpful manner that hopefully doesn't get banned!
I'm just skeptical of anything that comes out of the current state of things is all. Can't help it.

Okay, that actually got quite a chuckle out of me :) Touché, sir

But...are you saying the people that were trolling and being the 'drama mamas" are the ones flocking to KS? Doesn't that sort of...you know...say something about it's future?

Brian. So you're leaving Geekhack after only 24 posts, seemingly 1/4 of that in this thread going toe to toe with those you disagree with. Hope Keyboard Science works out better for you. Censorship has always been frowned on here since I joined. The price of freedom of speech is folks are going to say things you disagree with and don't like. Not sure how that's going to be handled over at Keyboard Science but I would infer there will be more censorship given the statements that such threads will not develop there. I personally have nothing against other forums, that would be just silly. But honestly I haven't even been able to keep up with even Geekhack for some time.
-
They said that about Deskthority too.
Edit: And this is a quality example of why there was a need for Keyboard Science.

Enough.
I'm fine with you letting folks here know about your new site. I am NOT fine with you using geekhack (ON GH) to justify its existence. Would you like me to hang out at KS and say things like "wow, this moderation sucks, you NEED geekhack".
It took an incredible amount of work to build up this community. There was nothing like it at the time (at least not English-speaking). It was a couple of years before GH was a full-fledged community. I am happy that new communities (like deskthority and KS) can leverage the work I have done. But I will not stand by and watch you crap on the very shoulders you are standing on. Have a little respect.

I would like to take this time to say: thank you iMav for creating this forum.
I am glad that I stumbled upon this place from a random article found through a random google search. When I arrived I promptly started reading alot of the wealth of information here (much of it in the form of Ripster made wikis) and was able to find out quite a bit that would, in all seriousness, be otherwise impossible.
I'd have been stuck with just my original acer switch board (which I still like) and the dell at101w that I bought off of ebay (which I hate in its current form). I was about to buy my model m when I came across here, but that probably would have been my last one.
Now, I am aware of all the ways that these things can be changed to make them more likeable, switch-wise as well as appearance. I have more boards than that and have had a place with which to do trades and buy stuff.
So this place has been pretty important to me over the time I have been here, and I thank you again for creating it.

Long Live GH!
-
That's nice, thanking iMav like that. :)
I, on the other hand, need serious counseling. I feel asleep last night thinking about keyboard mods I wanted to do. I used to go to sleep thinking of girls I wanted to do.
-
I incorporate both in to one vivid (albeit 'messy') dream.
It's like this:
I get a Filco Linear R Ltd. Edition. Get Black PBT caps with Ninja lettering. Get a leather wristrest from EK. All for free from ripster as a gift of love.
Then I use said keyboard to quickly and smoothly chat up a local 'worker'. I do her (nice boobs) and wake up. New pants, brush teeth, type on miserable Filco, go to work. Repeat.
-
For what it's worth...I started working on my new neighbor this evening so I can hopefully get her to model a keyboard, any keyboard. I'll blow her away with a Kinesis Advantage at the right moment when she least expects it. She's really a looker...platinum blonde with a vicious beach tan and light blue eyes. If I succeed, there will be serious keyboard porn to distribute to you guys.

I will love you forever if you pull this off.
I also removed my previous post to Brian and took it to PMs. As everyone has started apologizing in the Site Announcements thread I feel it's right if we let the fighting subside in all of the other threads.
Long live GeekHack.
- Typed on one of my 5 boutique keyboards that I've purchased since joining here, and I don't regret a thing.

But...are you saying the people that were trolling and being the 'drama mamas" are the ones flocking to KS? Doesn't that sort of...you know...say something about it's future?
Ach, that's very one-sided. It could be said that you are spending a lot of time mothering this little drama yourself. Driving a wedge between two factions (such as they are, being only a thimblefull of people on either side that are making most of the noise) is not a benefit to anybody. Gross generalization and name-calling is no way to move toward any resolution.

Such Drama. Nobody reacted this way when Princess Runeazn created his keyboard forum.
More or less the drama is because the people are split between people who like you, and people who hate you, more than people who like a new forum and people who doesn't.
This should feed your ego more than create doubt's about the drama...

True.
I was frustrated and tried to calm a few things down last weekend. Didn't have an effect. I've really let unbridled emotions come out after that. I've been as much of a prick as I can be. That's pretty damn pricky. I did apologize to Brian and Acfrazier, so I'm definitely a remorseful prick.
I'll stop and only deal with keyboards from now on.
Sorry for my involvement in this mess, but you all know how upsetting it can be.
Also, that post (above to Acfrazier)) was not meant to be trollish, I was being serious.

Hmm.....
Maybe I SHOULD have put this in Off Topic section.

Saw this two nights ago with the family. 4/5 stars mainly to see the great actors in drag - Guy Pierce! - Agent Smith and Elrond! - The Limey Terrence Stamp . MINUS One out of Five Boobs for all the boobs being on men.

OOPS! I just changed it to 3/5 boobs.
Just remembered the ping pong scene.

Ok, understood. I doubt I could stop you commenting on all this if I tried, and that's not my intention. Let's just try and make it a bit less polarized from now on.

Anything I've typed that is not related to the purpose of this "keyboard forum" is effectively worthless, whether it be positive, negative, trolling, cute chicks or whateva. I have no special rights or privileges. I knew I would be as guilty as the others when I made those stupid posts. Who knows maybe by lowering the bar even more it helped it improve faster. I vented and I'm done.
I have some cool keyboard projects to advance.
Back to keyboards.

Cool ... a new forum only for ping/ring stuff!
PING!
Hope that means for all on GH: Back to keyboards :)

Yes that's all it's about. haha hoho, so funny. Unless of course you got ****ed and got a $150 loudly ringing keyboard. Then it isn't so funny. But nice troll. Prick.

If there is another forum for this issue, i think that's great because i hope that this maybe will help that the hassle on GH will come to an end.
If you got f***ed and got a defective keyboard RMA it!
-
How is it a "hassle" and how is it the posters fault of they got a ringing keyboard? I don't think some of you fanboys appreciate what it's like to have a keyboard that rings for a full second after you stop typing. Not even an old clunky Model M does that (typing on one now).

When a problem affects other people looks always irrelevant, isn't it ?

Guy Pierce laughing hysterically at the end, while his friends are appalled and horrified really takes the scene all the way.
