Here are some pictures I've taken of my WYSE keyboard.
-
Nice, clean, simple - that's the way a keyboard ought to be.
I have a keyboard lying around that looks similar to yours, might be the colour. Mine is from an old dumb terminal, except with a few extra terminal keys. I pulled a couple of key caps off the other night and was amazed to find that it had Cherry MX black keys! Discovery of the month!
I always liked that keyboard, and now I know why, although in comparison to the Ducky with MX blue keys that I have now, I now find the older keyboard to be a fair bit stiffer to type on.
How do you like your Wyse for general typing?

I haven't been able to use this keyboard. Mainly because it is a terminal keyboard and second because I don't have the know how to get it to work on a ps2 or usb port.
I do like the way it feels but for everyday typing I think it would start to wear me out. I do have a Cherry G80-11900 with MX Blacks that I use from time to time on a test machine at work. Switching between my Filco w/ MX Browns to the Black switches feels like I'm trying to play with old play doe.
I do like using the blacks for gaming though.

You'd need to teensy mod it mate. Great board.

I bought the WYSE keycaps from taobao. I really like the font, but the grey background seems to dark in comparison to my white coloured modifier keys because I lack a moogle kit. (photos in signature) Oh well, classy font makes up for it.

That Wyse keyboard looks to have the standard IBM 101 key layout. You sure it's not PC/AT compatible? It might just need a different cable.

Isn't mate, check keyboard bable.

That's in excellent shape, was it NIB? I have a 840358 (terminal PCE) and it's good, but needs some retr0brite (less than my other WYSE keyboards, though.
I like the size of the CTRL keys, and the fact that they're ever so slightly stepped on the side.

It wasn't NIB when I got it. I just clean the fun loving crap out of my keyboards. If you look closely at the key caps you can tell it's been used. I agree about the layout...I would miss the windows key at first but I would get used to it.
What is this "slight" modding I hear about?¿?
