I dunno what the deal was then. I don't think the ones i've seen online are knockoffs cause they were at reputable dealers (that is they probably have their own distro contracts with new era and cant sell counterfeit alongside the real thing).

Giants fan that lives in Eagles-country here. Getting threatened at the supermarket when my wife wears her Eli jersey is pretty rough.

So excited that the season starts in less than a month, especially with a nationally televised Giants game (barely have any game tickets this year for the first time in a while  :( ).

i just looked at new era's wiki page and it says they became the official ON FIELD provider of caps for NFL (but come on when do football players wear fitted hats on the field...)

EDIT: To be honest, I don't really follow football all that much... I watch a game on occasion but I am not a fanatic. I prefer baseball. GO SOX!!! (even though they suck major cock this year)

Giants only won the Superbowl because the NFL is now controlled by the Italian Mafia. The Mara family is deeply involved, I am sure.

Too bad, it used to be a fun game to watch. Now it is only big business and organized crime. :'(

Now that he won everyone will be like Oh romo hes amazing until next week when he throws 3 picks because he jacks up then yells at his teammates like they are the morons who threw the int. I think they need a new QB and call it done.

No way! Not a Tebow fan.  Jerry Jones would though and then sit him on the sidelines because he likes to spend money on stuff that isn't needed for the team but the personal that is needed he doesn't want to purchase.

This is true. In crunch-time situations, he chokes. But he did a phenomenal job at avoiding the pass rush last night and making a nobody receiver look mighty good.

Why did the Jets buy Tebow in the first place? They already have a crappy QB...

That said, I'm still sort of a Tebow fan. I would like to see him do well (primarily because so many want to see him fail for the wrong reasons). But when he throws the ball I wince to see it flying like that gay javelin from Revenge of the Nerds -- all wobbling and gyrating out of control. I want him to do well, but geez, he can't throw worth a damn!

Patriots rocked the Jets on Thanksgiving, holy crap... 21 points in 52 seconds of play. And Jets QB Mark Sanchez running facefirst into one of his own players, falling, and then fumbling for a Patriots recovery for a touchdown. It was Comedy Central on the field. I'm a Patriots fan, so I've watched the game 3 times since seeing it the first time, and even I feel bad for Jets fans right now. Even the Jets' self-proclaimed #1 superfan (Fireman Ed) has cancelled his Twitter account.  :(

Although I despise the Jets, its really sad to see that its spiraled this out of control. Between the QB controversy and just overall "drama" surrounding them, it completely destroys what Rex Ryan had done in the time he was there. I don't see him coming back next year.

When even Fireman Ed quits because he is being heckled for supporting their starting QB, you know the fans have turned. It is like Jets fans are as bad as Eagles fans... oh wait... the Jets fans still fill Metlife whereas the Linc is 1/3rd full. Bahaha.

Harborough is a fantastic coach. Didn't follow enough of the niners when Singletary was there. But there is no basis for benching Smith this year. He was awful, but look at Eli his first 4 years.

yeah, there was no reason to sit Smith because the back up had ONE good game.

I don't think Harborough is behind the bench though. Might be someone upstairs.

CRUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUZ

Yeah. Gonna need some more magic out of him.

You a Giants fan? I don't know what's going on. Shut out the Giants; can't beat the Panthers...

Yeah, die-hard Giants fan. The Panthers game was just one let-down. Actually good to get that out of their system if they want to go on a playoff run. Home-field advantage is going to be HUGE for the Falcons.

My poor Giants. Finally played hard and well but a couple weeks too late. :( At least we spanked the hell out of the Eagles which makes it hurt a tad less.

Playoffs will still be exciting, though. Very interested in seeing how these 3 rookie QBs do.

Rooting for a hard-hitting defensive Superbowl to see which offense can be just good enough... so I'd take Denver from the AFC and either SF or Seattle from the NFC.

Playoffs are really great this year. A lot of close games.

When Denver lost I cried. The only team I could have loved after the Gmen chocked were knocked out.

Someone hold me :(
