found it here:http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=360479361621&ssPageName=ADME:B:SS:US:1123#ht_500wt_1414 (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=360479361621&ssPageName=ADME:B:SS:US:1123#ht_500wt_1414)
it's a g81-1800laaus, but some weird variant w/ trackball.
Anyone else come across one of these monsters?

ooo that would be nice as a G80 …

I like how you named the image 'freak.jpg'
That trackball looks sort of separate. Perhaps there are solder points for it on a normal G80, or at least the controller in that one could handle it as well in some way?

You don't have to do much to make this KBD off-the-freaking-chain
1. replace the print screen and scroll lock with a couple more useful keys (volume?)
2. integrate a new laser trackball w/ scroll wheel and all the helpful buttons we come to expect nowdays
3. MX switches instead of the MYs it probably uses now.
and you're basically done. I'd buy that.

too bad the keycaps arent doubleshot
-
I wanna know what kind of trackball that is...
-
Too bad it is priced so high or it might have been interesting to mod. If you want MX, while it is not the same and is bulkier since it still has the numpad and the trackball to the right of it instead, there is the qtronix (http://www.ebay.com/itm/QTRONIX-KEYBOARD-BLUE-CHERRY-SLIDER-DOUBLE-MOLD-KEYTOP-VINTAGE-TRACKBALL-KT-30M-/261070801002?pt=PCA_Mice_Trackballs&hash=item3cc908486a) which also has a better price.
