hello I haev a ducky shine green backlit keyboard and I really really dislike the stabilizers on the shift and spacebar. Is there a way to remove these and make them feel like the rest of the keys? Also is it safe? Thanks!

They are there because you need them. If you happen to hit those keys directly above the switch 100% of the time, then you might be able to get away with removing them.

Ahhh the precise, machine-like response, Lol. One question though, OP. What do you mean by "don't like" the stabilizer?

Just keep using it they will break in. If you are impatient try greasing them.

If you do take them out, put a 1x or 1.25x keycap on there.
I'd keep the stabilizers. Other than the spacebar, which is supposed to feel different, they are not that heavily used.

Do that Korean mod thing, where you cut the little nubs off the side of the stabilizers.
See if that helps..

Come to think about it how hard is it to do that mod. I'm considering getting a Ducky but in case I don't like the cherry stabilizer I might do that.
I've seen the video where they clip the stem/bars, but how hard is it to get that stem/bar out from the housing?
