****ty photos... and only 3 feedback. Interesting.
$180 BIN
-
that is so lame...
-
Well, if you were to put a cash value for a tri-color of that rarity, that's a pretty fair price.
-
crappy pictures, looks like its the one from the latest ek sale "the salute"

Hard to tell. Could be the black, white and red eyes one, also. I don't understand why people selling things on ebay choose to use the crappiest camera they own.

I'd rather buy a brand new Filco for the buy it NOW price. I would love more keyboards, much more.

There was that one NYC dude from pre-GH crash that was a real jerk. Anyone remember?

... and only 3 feedback.
But it's such good feedback.
"Oh my god this seller is incredible. Like a beautiful swan caressing my face. A+"

Was the guy who gave one of the members here negative ebay feedback because their key got lost in the mail from NY? Is this the same guy you're referring to?

MyNameIsFinn?
-
Dan, I remember who you're talking about! I think he was actually from Brooklyn too. I don't recall his name though. It wasnt finn.
Edit: It's possible that it's him, but this guy has a difference ebay ID. The other thread that was created either got deleted or lost during one of the rollbacks.

You mean the lan guy?

Not MyNameIsFinn. It was another guy, and not lan123...
God, what was his name. Greg something?

Check my link in my modified post.
"If anyone knows or heard of this guy "Gregory" from Brooklyn on GH please avoid him at all costs. He kept telling me "i don't give a sh*t about you or another free key. I want the key i ordered you f*...blah blah blah" even though i consistently insisted in helping him out. He's ordered from qtan and seems like all he does is order keycaps even though he only made like 4-5 purchases on ebay(his account was made in 2006 -_-)"

Wow, it's already been sold! I'm betting that it's the same Gregory guy from that thread though.
-
I wouldn't buy it at that price. Maybe there are someone who is willing. We will see.
Edit: Sold already!? We know there is at least one person who is willing to pay that much for that key cap.

That's the name! He had a battle with nochka...

I bought a single keycap from him my first week here and had to almost beg him for 3 weeks to ship it. It was ridiculous. He was very negative towards GH.

Whoever spent $180 on a single CC keycap needs to reevaluate their keyboard hobby. There is no way a single plastic keycap is worth that much.
-
^ well it depends of the size of your wallet. IMO nobody in this forum is in good position to judge, because we also had bought keyboard related stuff, that for the average guys are just useless and expensive.
-
Yeah man....but this is a single freaking keycap that was originally purchased for much much less.
-
^ I put my self as an example, my friends think that I paid 1 dollar for each of my keycaps, and even at such price, they think that I am waisting my money. But if the new buyer has the money, he wont care if it was sold for 3 usd, he want it and he has to money so he got it, that simple.
-
Can I conflict you out of this conversation by reasons of your tri-color skulls in your sig pic? I kid, I kid. :P
-
^ Which one ;-)

Agreed.
-
^ well it's what happens in collectible "hobbies" where supply drives cost (not necessarily value, which is more of a personal opinion). Look at baseball cards. Is an old piece of cardboard or paper worth hundreds of thousands of dollars? They originally cost like a penny or may have even been free. People don't want to hear the supply / demand thing here but the only way to control the cost of these is to mass produce and flood the market. Regulars may be able to somewhat limit the amount paid here, mostly through shame, but they will simply be sold elsewhere and still effect dealings and people here.
I bet this one would have sold if he were asking $250. It sold for $180 with a BIN in less than a day, before bidding wars even took place.
And NO, I am not the new owner. I checked this morning and was shocked it went that fast but no at how much it went for.
-
Ripster is no longer with us, so i'll do it. But yes, I think someone should reevaluate their keyboard hobby. $180 for a piece of plastic is seriously pushing it.
