no idea but anything under $150-200 a pop seems fair to me. they can't be to expensive.
ok just saw the link to the ebay pages $125 each? seems reasonable i just dont have a topre yet or i'd buy them all lol.
sorry for the thread hijack was just a general comment on me not being able to find any for sale topre, mx or otherwise.

Props to you bro. They originally sold for $18 each. But don't let me stop you from buying the ones on ebay!

You do realise it's one single piece of plastic?
It isn't exactly rationnal to drop this much money for such a thing. :p.

It's bang on in the current market but many will think that it is crazy to spend that much on one cap and they are probably right!
-
you can pay whatever you want but don't be surprised if people accuse you of being part of a group that is helping to artificially drive up the price of click clacks.
i don't understand why you think $150 is a fair price for a single piece of plastic, but pretty much all of my friends think it's ridiculous that I type on a $275 keyboard anyway.

yeah true but the way i see it, its not manufactured anymore, its 1 of a kind basically so yes its only 1 single piece of plastic but its not like its common so can't expect the price to be cheap lol

But not a lot of those are made.

They are about $100-$150 but like sth said $150 is just insane for 1 cap. I spent no more than $220 on my main board i use now.

The problem some of us have with it is this: If these are worth $150-200 to people, fine. But the guy who makes them should be getting that money, not someone who paid $18 for it just to turn around and sell it for over $100. ClickClack makes them as affordable as he can, and people are taking advantage of the situation.
I understand that some people have paid over $100 for theirs, so asking that much at sale/auction is not profiteering, in that case. But how to tell who bought for $18-30 and who bought for $100-150? Sometimes it is easy to tell who paid "retail" for them, from a dibs sale or from EliteKeyboards, because the same ones that were just made available show up in the Classfieds the next week.

and then on the other end of the spectrum, there is obviously a huge demand, but no supply. so why should the supplier get all the profits if they can't keep up with demand? thats why they go for ridiculous prices because obviously alot of people want them but there just arn't very many of them lol

reselling adds nothing of value to the product.

It's his choice to sell them for so little though, it's a very strange business model that he uses. Sell them for a low price and only make a few of them.
