I really like the street fighter bikes ^_^ but I'm a R6 fan

I owned an R6 before crashing it within my first week. Almost tore my balls off going over the top spread eagle.

Contemplating either an Aprilia SXV 550 or a Triumph Street Triple as my next bike.

Damn. Hearing all the negative parts if owning a bike is like WTF, but I still want one.

Thinking about buying a noon bike like a 650r just to get the deal of it

MOAR BARS

I think I'll do the motorcycle licence next year.

I don't plan on buying one just afterwards, but someday in the future. And doing the licence in a few years will be a lot more of a hassle.

I've always wanted a Ducati. The 1198's are super cool IMO. I also would love to have an Indian bike at some point in my life, but I'd ride it more than keep the antique.

I prefer a more reliable option, Honda Wave which is a upgrade from the Honda Cub. Just like Cherry keyboards. Not the most technological advance nor flashiest in design but it runs forever.

60,000km and only need a change of engine oil and air filter every now and then.

I used to have a Yamaha FZR400RR Japanese specs while I was living in Bangkok and let me tell ya, it gave me a whole new respect for smaller displacement engines. lol

Those are pretty different bikes, but I'll vouch for the Triumph triples. I've had a Daytona 675 for a few years now and it's a blast.

I didn't say I didn't like mopeds, your's included.  This is the motorcyclezombie thread though, so you can imagine my confusion at the any moped/scooter being in here.

Nope! I can't understand at all! :P I've been looking at getting another moped to modify since this one is technically my dad's. The ones I can find near me though are all titleless... which I am not touching, too much liability if it is stolen or something.

Bimota blows Ducati out of the freakin' water. Makes them look like tricycles.

I miss riding.  Have a 1983 Honda VF750F in storage, a project bike that I haven't touched in years.  Sold my BMW K1200R last year, loved the bike but rarely rode it after my son arrived.  Made me realize that riding is a pretty solitary sport, and if I had free time I'd rather spend it with family than haring off into the sunset.   :)

But I still miss riding.

This is my ride - Suzuki Bandit - the last year of the old body style.  The pic is from a couple years ago after a long road trip so it has all the bags on it still.  The top case and soft bags come off.  It is the perfect bike for me - a sport standard.  A fast sport bike (1200cc) but you sit upright and not completely tucked/crouched.  My friends and I take at least one multi state trip each year and more than a couple hours on the highway on a smaller sport bike gets uncomfortable.  (I am 6' 3")

If spring ever truly comes maybe she'll see some daylight soon.
