Looking for nav cluster lasered PBT... I just want a full set of PBTs so I can try them out as a DD board. Instead of buying a new set from the far east, I took all the caps that I'd had left over from the POS boards I'd shot in the head and saved a full set (before cutting up the rest for space bar and Ctrl/Alt/Win/Menu mods), I've decided I don't like relegendables on the nav cluster though. I managed to get a set of German caps with the F-row but didn't want German printing on the nav cluster so I'm still looking for those - the nine keys above the arrows. If you have some let me know! If you need, I'll trade/partial trade some worn doubleshots, Rawko boards, etc. for these. Thanks much!

I have the 9 keys above the arrows in English black relegendables. PM me if you want them, but it looks like you just want them in beige lasered.

II thought he didn't want relegendable either? have them lasered in black on beige, but they too are relegendable.

I got a full set from compaq G80-1180 that i think is what u r looking for
The profile will be wrong on the bottom 3 of the 9 in that cluster, but that is no different than the DS caps everyone uses from G8x-1800's

yes, I currently *have* relegendables on the board now... I'm one of those weird people who actually uses the nav cluster a lot, and they just don't feel right to me.
inlikeflynn, are yours old school beige/grey, or the newer all off-white? I might be interested. The incorrect profile bothers me a little, but not as much as the relegendables :)

If you don't mind some weird legends I have some for you, though they are pretty worn too... but you can have the right profile and beige color. The ones that are listed as lasered pbt and are old thick style (picture 4th from top), see here (http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=28549.0). I also have a nav cluster in there, but it's doubleshots.

Actually, I have a full set and then some of doubleshots... was hoping to just make a full set of PBT so I could try them out before popping for anything more expensive, but thanks for the offer. Now that I look at your ad, though, damn, I want to pick up that scroll lock so I can put doubleshots on my Leopold. (I know I'd need a caps lock as well, but one thing at a time.)
I actually have been typing on these for a while now, and I think even with the annoyance of having the relegendables in the nav cluster I feel comfortable enough with these that I might be able to justify the price of a new set of PBT blanks or dyesubs. (but now that I've started, I'd still like to "complete the set" just because...)

I had a bunch of lasered ones but I gave/threw them away awhile ago. There are some NIB G81-3000LPNUS-0 for $22 on ebay if you want a new set. If you want any of the random keys in my thread just send me a PM.
