Hi, I'm a software developer and mechanical keyboard lover. I have an IBM model M keyboard that I adore and recently purchased a 45g uniform Realforce 87U (which I'm trying to sell to fund the 55g version). I live in the USA.

Hi thegunner100, I see you have both 45 and 55g topre boards! What are your thoughts on the two? My use case is 100% work with no gaming. Thanks!

When I first got the 45g, I really liked it for both typing and gaming. It's very smooth, and just pleasant to type on overall. Curiosity got the best of me, and I ordered my 55g and found that I liked it even more than the 45g. The heavier topre is not fatiguing for me at all, and I tend to make a little less mistakes while typing on the 55g. The 55g makes you understand what "Good feeling of oneness with cup rubber" is all about. Especially with the left ctrl key; that's one key I love pressing.
That being said, I'm bringing my 55g with me to my school dorm tomorrow, and leaving my 45g at home.
