Title: Why do subforums show as "read" when there are unread threads in them?
Post by: keyboardlover on Sun, 26 August 2012, 08:00:27
If I just view a subforum, it gets marked as read even though there are unread threads in it.

I preferred how this worked on the old GH, where a forum wasn't marked as "read" unless you read all the threads in it. The way it is now, I can't tell what I've read and what I haven't.

It seems to work based off of posts made since the last time you logged in not that the posts were marked read or actually read.  I too would like this fixed.

Honestly, if it doesn't get fixed I think it's a dealbreaker for me. That's a big part of why I haven't been active lately. Too frustrating trying to figure out what's new or not.
