Do you (or anyone else) know of any other board with BLACK ALPS that "is" available?

For ease of ordering and not having to deal with customs you could do this http://mechanicalkeyboards.com/shop/index.php?l=product_detail&p=88 or this http://mechanicalkeyboards.com/shop/index.php?l=product_detail&p=89

I have a 1087XM with Blacks, but I doubt the Ducky Black is anywhere close to what that original Simplified Blacks were like... 1087XM has almost no tactility, and extremely high activation.

I recommended a Dell AT101W first, that's what my little brother uses and its great, and a tank.

Now I'm completely confused. Ebay has a bunch fo the Dell AT101Ws, but they all say clicky. Thought the Alps Blacks were Tactile, but not Clicky... Boy, do I miss Ripster's Wikis.

Those are the same people that just post any old keyboard on ebay and attach "clicky" to it in hopes of selling it for more than its worth. Ask for a picture if you want but the one I have is black Alps, the only white Alps one I found was specifically stated as such and more expensive.

The MicroConnectors D07-135 (http://store.microconnectors.com/servlet/-strse-MAC-PRODUCTS-cln-IMAC-FLAVORED-USB-MICE-AND-KEYBOARDS/Categories) sometimes comes with tactile non-clicky black ALPS. Mine did, anyway.
From what I've been able to piece together from rumors/old forum posts, they seem to have had a later production run using inferior gray/white ALPS clones. On the other hand, I got mine fairly recently, and it has the black switches. I think it may vary by color, so if you choose a color that was popular (like the gray, probably), you may wind up with inferior switches.

None listed on their site or on Ebay. Will keep looking.

Thanks for the info...

OP, any particular reason you're looking for this kind of switch? I have one of these ABS M1s, and although it's not my favorite KB, I don't hate it either. If the switches were a little lighter, then I would like it. I'm too use to MX reds.

Looking for something (in a full size board) that is similar to MX Clears. Don't like the flat profile of the Deck board, or the low profile of the Cherry board. I have a few KeyCool Clear TKL boards, and love them. Perhaps I'll just waid for the WASD 2, and see if they offer Clears.
