Hello so I've owned a Razer Naga for almost about a year now. I've always left the lights off because I find the thumb grid lights gets warm after a while. It's not hot enough that it's uncomfortable, but it's definitely warm enough to make me sweat. And overall a bit annoying.
By default the software group the scroll wheel light with thumb grid light, then the razer logo light is on its own. So if I turn off the thumb grid it will turn off scroll wheel light. Does anyone know is there a way to hardware mod it so I can only have the scroll wheel light on? At the moment my guess is I might have to permanently disable the thumb light in the hardware then turn everything on in the software to achieve that.
Here's a video I saw on YouTube which shows the internals, the part I'm focusing on is start at the 1:00 mark
Any hardware guru out there might know?

I keep all the light on my naga turned off. i figure the cooler the mouse is the better it should work
btw i'd go back to the old 3.0.2 drivers the new synapse suck
I'm able to toggle the icon & numpad lights seperately

Yeah I usually keep the light off also. I find the issue I have now is that they link the scroll and thumb pad together, so I think I have to hardware modify it to get just the scroll wheel light up.
