I'm looking for a new keyboard, as my Logitech G110 is rubber dome, and its been a year and a half of well played SC2, but the keys are a little irregular at the moment. I'm looking for a Cherry MX Brown or Blue gaming keyboard for SC2 (I really didnt like Blacks), and I was wondering which keyboards are really good for SC2, that are Brown or Blues. Price cap around $180.
Side note, I really kinda liked something that was a little crazy in terms of just not a normal black keyboard, though those are fine (ex. Pink Filco :P)
thanks in advance!!

What are you looking for, tenkeyless or full? From your post I'm getting a vibe that you might want macro keys... is this true?
-
i dont really want macro keys, but tenkeyless or full is not a big deal either way.

Oh well, you have quite a bit of options. I vote for the CM Storm QuickFire Rapid; top notch keyboard for a great price. You can easily get a whole new PBT keycap set with that budget of yours.

If you got to have it now, then CM Quickfire Rapid. $64 for blues is a steal.
If you can wait until the end of Sept, Reddit is having a mass drop on Ducky Shine II's. Now those are gonna be SICK.

You'll have enough in your budget to get some excellent Dyesub PBT keycaps (for $86 ex. ship), I think! This is an awesome idea, and you should pick out your preferred colour right now.

Swagpiratex, Is there a link I can look at? I'm not to good at the reddits, they're not forum-like enough for me.

hm... thanks! do you know around what part of september the shine ii's will be dropped, yeah swagpiratex do you have a link?

The only reason to get a Shine is if you love backlight (http://mechanicalkeyboards.com/articles.php?article=ducky_shine_ii_is_coming) effects. The CM quickfire is easily the best value. It is very similar to a Filco but with gamer-oriented styling. I prefer the Leopold (http://www.elitekeyboards.com/products.php?lang=en) myself, but most people don't seem to like the softer feel of the space bar compared to the Filco.

Would somebody please give this thread a semi useful title?

hmm i really am just thinking about what i really want. the CM seems to be the same as everything else, but for less, which is really cool, but im just deciding between backlit or not, because i really liked the backlit on this g110
@metalliqaz im really thinking about a leopold also, it seems to be really good quality, and not much more than CM atm.. btw SlayerS_Alicia uses leopold, but idk, the filcos seem overpriced after looking at a wider selection of boards.
@Icarium there u go. heh

If you want backlit and cheap you can get a Keycool 87. Never tried it but heard fairly good things.
