Hey -
I'm saving up some dough for a tenkeyless cherry blue in the $150~ range.
I know WASD is coming out with a v2 (possibly) at the end of the year.
I saw someone mention Flico backlits.
Any other leads on what is going to be new out I can get this holiday season?

Get a Ducky Year or the Dragon if you really want a backlit TKL board right now. If you are new to keyboards you should be fine with Cherry stabilizers, they arent so horrible as some people might say! I thought they were good on my 6g v2 while I had it. OR!! You could get a Keycool keyboard, they also have some backlit TKLs if Im not wrong.
But as you said Q4 2012... Then the option is the Keycool. They Ducky Year of the Dragon should be sold out by then since its a limited edition.
That is regarding backlit TKLs. If you dont need backlit then there are 1000000 diff boards you could get. the Quick Fire Rapid is a excellent choice if you wanna spend less and get great quality still.

I actually prefer the Cherry stabilizers in my Leopold compared to the Costar stabilizers in my Filco. Everyone says the Costar ones are better, I don't know why. My plain old FC200R is my favorite board.

The Dragon with reds is already sold out at mechanicalkeyboards. Looks like qtan still has them though. Otherwise they don't seem to be selling that fast.
