Hi,
Got a Filco TKL and noticed 2 switches are upside down. The board itself works. Just curious if it's intended? Keyboardco told me it's reversed on some cause the solder pins are offset. It's only the switches for left win and alt key.

You can get more contact points in the same space this way, potentially allowing the same PCB to be used with different layouts hence making it cheaper.

i cant see the pic at work, but its normal for mj-2's to have the bottom left mod switches upside down
-
Yup seems to be normal even my quick fire rapid has the exact same switch orientation
-
It is normal, and intended design implementation.

Thanks for the quick answers :)

It reminds me of that movie, "the omen" w/ the 666 hidden on the devil child's head.
Except this is the keyboard version of it with reversed switches.
Now I'm picturing someone typing on a keyboard backwards. Wow. That's actually kinda cool. Hmmm...

would probably take a long time (for me) to learn touch typing backwards
