Title: Anybody know where to buy Media Keycaps?
Post by: Appeac on Sat, 08 September 2012, 22:59:08
Preferably R4. Added media functionality to F6-F12 and would like to add a legend. The problem is I can't find any! Preferably no text, since the rest of the caps are blank, otherwise I'd scrounge a CM Rapid or something. I could do it graphically via WASD, but that's $10 per cap, and the text based one uses Webdings, which doesn't have Vol + or -, or play/pause. Help!

Hah, I would give you the ones of from old CM, but I already sold them to someone else who wanted the same thing.

I do know you can use vector graphics with WASDkeyboards to make keycaps with whatever legends you want.

Perhaps you can talk to sleabo at QWERkeys? Maybe poke around the classifides? You might want to see a bout doing a GB.

I want to say I saw Sleabo post some media keys that were produced as a custom order for a customer.

Send him a PM or contact QWERkeys through their support email. They may be able to make what you're looking for.

Got in contact with QWERkeys and it looks like something they can do.
