From my research, I understand the HPE to be the cheapest TKL. I was just wondering if anybody knew of one cheaper. I don't want to spend a ton as I plan on getting another around Q4, but my nephews destroyed my rapoo v7 with rootbeer. I'm tired of the $10 mini Siig rubber dome I'm using. I would prefer red or even brown, but if it was a PCB mount, I could harvest the springs from the rapoo and drop 'em in instead.
Work your magic GeekHackers. ;D

By my understanding, the Quickfire Rapid sometimes goes on a sale that drives the price way low. Better quality than a HPE or Keycool, too.

CoolerMaster quickfire rapid MX blues. Same quality as filco for $64 shipped:

I know, I know, but...Blues...Blegh. I wish their red board was that cheap.

Get one with browns :D

The brown is $104 on Amazon.

Well for the mx reds, $90 shipped (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007VDLVD4/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B007VDLVD4&linkCode=as2&tag=keyboard08-20) is pretty much the lowest non-sale price. Only other place that even has them available is directly from CM website for $90 + shipping + tax.
And also in the realm of mechanical keyboards, $25 difference between the reds and blues is not a whole lot of difference, especially if you're going to consider getting replacement caps or other accessories for the keyboard. This keyboard hobby will burn a hole in your wallet.

I know. I'm already in on the Sanctuary group buy, but I'm just too cheap to spend ~$100 now when I know I'll be spending that much or more in a few months on another one. Especially when I can only use one keyboard at a time.

Bummer that they're out of the reds. :(
And plate mounted so I can't just switch the springs on a black.
