So i got my kbt pure keyboard in, and on a reboot everything works fine but shortly thereafter my spacebar seems to become nonresponsive.
It works fine in windows at first and i'm happily typing away, i can activate the sw0, 1, 2 and 3 functions with no issues but then about 4 -5 minutes in mid typing the spacebar just appears to stop working, the only way i can seem to get it back is restarting windows/ unplugging the usb cable/plugging it back in. All the other buttons work fine.
Has anyone else experienced this or are there any suggestions as to what could be causing it?
I'm on windows 7 and 8 rtm for what it's its worth, but i i've tested on both with the same result.

Did you try different ports and different computers?

I've been using mine solid for a couple of months without any problems. Have you tried opening/cleaning the switch?
-
Yes to both, using mxred switches, i will try opening up the switch tonight, and let you know how it goes.

So you've never lost functionality of the spacebar whatsoever, no matter what combination of software switches you use?

Nope, the only ones I use are the disable winkey, sticky FN keys and arrow lock but I've never had any problems.

Still no go on the board, the spacebar works for a time and then just stops working, even though all the other buttons work fine. Unplugging the board/swapping USB ports makes no difference, all the other buttons keep working but the spacebar stays dead. I will talk to the seller and see what gives, i just bought it as well, this has been an issue since day one with it :( i thought it was something to do with the sticky function key through sw3 at first but it looks like a bigger issue, a bit of a pissoff to be honest.
My quickfire storm is chugging along just fine in the meantime as a workaround.
