Title: Realforce 104 in the US?
Post by: karljs on Mon, 10 September 2012, 19:37:09
I've been thinking about shelling out for a full size Realforce board but really want the 104 instead of the 103, since I have the opportunity to buy a secondhand set of colored Topre keycaps. I emailed EK a while back and was told to expect them in "the coming days", but it's been a few weeks and there are no signs of the situation changing.

Does anybody know of an alternative way to get one of these in the US?

keyboardco has them in stock if you can stomach the shipping fees from the UK

I wish elitekeyboards would step up and get some new products in already. I would really like to see some new boards.

Good call. I know they are a respected vendor, but does anyone have experience specifically with shipping to the USA? The website warns about customs, and if there were to be a problem is it easy enough to resolve from overseas?

I ordered a Realforce 86UB from Keyboard Company and didn't have any issues.

In fact I let Bruce know that the shipping was so quick I should have asked him to throw in some Fish and Chips.

Thanks. I'll give them a try.

Ah, damn. After looking a little more closely I realized they only stock the variable boards. While I didn't specify, I'm looking for a constant one.  :(
