CMStorm Rapid, Keycool 87 fall into that price tier. Both get generally positive remarks asides from some mostly regarding aesthetics.

I'm not sure about production quality on Keycool 87 but for CM Storm QuickFire Rapid it's made in the same place that made Thermaltake MEKA G1.

Also as for aesthetics that the new batch of QuickFire Rapid doesn't have all the crazy branding anymore, so I'd go with that :P

I have a CM Quickfire rapid with red switches and it feels as good and solid as the Filco TKL that I had before it for less than 50% of the cost. So I highly recommend it if you dont mind TKL boards.

I have 3 Quickfire's (have purchased 5 total) and they've all been solid boards.

The QFR are a super solid board. If I needed a TKL board on the cheap, I wouldn't even look at other keyboards
