I just wanted to say:

I believe the "caps lock" key should always have an all-caps legend.

I want to see "CAPS LOCK" on every "caps lock" key.

IMO the legend should change (maybe via backlit LED)

caps-lock off: CAPS LOCK
caps-lock on: caps lock

Novelty variations of this can be cAPS lOCK and Caps Lock respectively

THIS would be AWESOME,, You should go patent this right now..... Not like the chinese would ever honor it, but at least you could SAY you came up with it.

This would also be good. Would need to make sure the LED behind it is hilariously bright.

Oh, right, this is supposed to be about CAPS LOCK. I'd like to have that text cover the entire surface of that key.

And 'caps lock' eliminates the need to hold down one key, while pressing others...

In guitar we call this "anchoring," which should be despised, detested, and avoided at all costs, and only ever used sparingly, in the most rare of circumstances, by experts, masters, and professionals, lest ye develop RSI/CTS, and become unable to play (or in this case, type).


BTW: my g710+ has an "all caps" caps lock legend. ^^

That would be a good point... in some alternate universe, where one needs to type in caps. In this universe, good text editors and typesetting systems (well, even CSS can do that) can convert any text to lower/upper case with a single command/shortcut, and it's possible to activate Caps Lock through a key combo.
