Title: Swapping Switches on a Leopold FC200R
Post by: kwago on Mon, 24 September 2012, 22:23:12
Is it possible to replace stems and springs without removing the entire switch from the PCB? I want to swap out some of the Red switches with something more stiff.

No, it's plate mounted so you'll have to desolder.

It's a pretty easy to do if you watch some soldering youtube videos.

I did my Ergo clear mod about 2 weeks ago. Took me about 4-5 hours total. That's desoldering 87x2 switches, switching 87x2 springs, and resoldering 87x2 switches back in.
