Title: WTT/WTB: [Phantom] 7bit Plate (or cash) for PHANSI Plate

I have a 7bit layout plate for trade, cash, or any other goodies below:

What I have:

Post by: fruktstund on Sun, 30 September 2012, 12:50:48: I'm pretty sure the plate files are somewhere in the Phantom thread either here or at Deskthority. I know I tried to tamper with them in AutoCAD before (tried to make a Realforce layout plate), and failed - my CAD skills are nonexistent.

If I'd known anything about laser/water cutting aluminium, I maybe would've started a mini group buy or something. We're at least three people in need of Phansi plates, apparently. :P

Post by: jdcarpe on Sun, 30 September 2012, 12:58:31: I have a copy of the plate drawing files from bpiphany. If someone wants to run a quick GB for the PHANSI version, I'm in for one. I believe the originals were laser cut from .063" 6061 aluminum, sanded to bring the thickness down, and then anodized black.

Edit: I think the idea of reproduction is actually quite cool, since we can customize what color anodize we want as well. I have a local shop that does it for really cheap with basic colors.

litster said that him and BiNi would like to sort out any extras before we try and make this a reality. I don't think it'll hurt to try an interest check though, so we'll see. I'll keep everyone updated as it comes along...
