Title: Are clear stems the same as gray stems?
Post by: The_Beast on Wed, 03 October 2012, 19:57:02
Are clear stems the same as gray stems? I have a bunch of clear stems and one gray stem, the clear feels slightly more tactile  than the gray but the stems look identical in terms of the bump.

I was wondering the exact same thing (http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=35718.msg665459#msg665459) a few weeks ago.

Grey stems can be the same as black/red stems, depending on the grey switch in question.

I'm pretty sure the grey is the same as clear. Sometimes other factors can make them feel different, though.

It's light gray tactile, not a dark gray linear

The only difference was that the gray was on the spacebar and the clear was on the right alt. But both were using brown/red/blue springs.
