Bidding the Reserve on first julysicle :-)
-
2nd julysicle reserve. :)
-
Candy corn still available?
-
This seems to be a good way to sell CC's. I don't like how they go for in auctions.

thanks, i think its the better way to sell and its the only way i've ever done it or seen it be done on for sale forums for anything, usually works out better imo.
working out the candycorn stuff now as there was a pm bid.
-
longweight let me know the answer to that pm i sent you as i need to know as there was another guy who bid instant.
-
I personally think one should always sell for the price that they paid for:)! so good on you!!

also, candycorn sold pending payment!
Woa that was fast. If you don't mind me asking this in your thread here lol, does anyone know what exactly makes these so valuable? No disrespect to CC's work, he really makes some sick keycaps from what I've seen on here so far, but I don't see how they're worth THAT much. On elitekeyboards they were/are listed at $28 (albeit being out of stock) so why are they worth so much more than that now? Are all of the CCs just extremely limited/rare sets or what exactly?

lol i asked the same thing when i got here, and it comes down to rarity. they arn't produced anymore in any substantial number.

"3) Another interesting tid bit that I know of is that the most successful orders were within 1 second of that countdown clocks zero (as many of you have now probably found out). A number of people who are usually quick to get in on these sales also got in on this one. From what information I have gathered, luck was a much smaller part of this than many think. You can't necessarily always control the specifics of the route the information takes and the delays involved but being quick on the trigger and/or knowing and estimating your delay seemed to greatly help. Quick > luck, by and large. So the saying that I love to use- "better lucky than good", did not seem to be true for the most part."
-
It isn't all luck, takes time and commitment!
-
I'm sure people who have purchased collectible items in the past had no problems getting one in this past sale.
-
Most were probably invited by clack.
-
Grawh! Alas, I am too late, such beautiful looking caps!
