SP's DCS is similar to Cherry (but not a perfect match)

Title: Re: Question regarding keycaps on KBT Pure vs SP / Now let's talk about LEDs

Let's take this in a separate direction. How hard would it be to swap some LEDs out of the board for different colors?

Harder and more time consuming than buying colored keycaps.

I'm actually looking for blank keycaps for a KBT Pure. Have you come across any? From the sound of it I'm guessing I can use any cherry keycap?

I will say the opposite. Easier and faster than finding caps like you want. If you can solder change led only takes a couple minutes. Just watch the forward voltage on your replacement led, you want it to be as close to the same as the current color or it gets a bit tricker if you need to add reistors and stuff.

That.

That right there would be why it would be harder and longer for me who has no idea how to use a soldering iron or know any of those minute details. Typing up search queries would be easier for me until I get the time to play around with soldering.
