... At Newegg, promo code EMCJNNA233. :)
-
Many keyboards have pack-in bundle deals.
Particularly low-priced example (from Slickdeals):
Rosewill Mechanical Keyboard RK-9000 with Cherry MX Red Switch + Rosewill 5000 DPI Laser Gaming Mouse for $74.99 - $11.25 w/ promo code EMCJNNA233 = $63.74 with free shipping

Using the same code.

Sadly no shipping to IL, NY and NC means I won't ever be able to grab a one of these.
-
no shipping to europe either :@
-
Great Deal!
Now that I have one of jdcarpe's "geekhack" badges I may be able to cover up that hideous logo.
Does anybody know about what domestic shipping is for this?
-
Shipping on Rosewill KBs is a crap shoot depending on switch and model and time of day, phase of the moon, sunspot cycle, occlusion of Venus... either free or $7.98

I would really like to know why they can't ship these to NY

seems to be a retailer specific thing but yeah a reason would be nice
personally i bought an mx blue a while ago and immediately returned it, no real reason to get one of these: if you can afford one, just save a little more for a filco or something. keycaps are hideous too, and they felt more wobbly than my filcos. that USB port seems to be a common point of failure too and mine was exceptionally loose out of the box

In the slickdeals thread they mention the following:
"In regards to your most recent inquiry about shipping Rosewill keyboard to IL, we are sorry to inform you that Rosewill no longer ships keyboard/mice to IL, NY and NC. This is due to additional e-waste fees imposed by these states. Unfortunately, we are unable to make exceptions for this. I apologize for any inconvenience."
-
However, Amazon seems to have no issues sending rosewill boards to these states. It's a vague reason that I really wish they'd give more details about.

At least in IL it's because of a loophole in the e-waste law. "All manufacturers" blah blah must pay for recycling for "products they sold" Since NewEgg is/owns Rosewill and they don't want to pay for the program they don't ship to IL, Amazon can ship there since they aren't the manufacturer... crazy stuff.
-
Interesting... Thanks for clearing that up. I didn't realize Newegg owned Rosewill

Welcome to my world, 99% of the bargains are either not available to me in Australia or will cost me $50 + extra.

Quick, everyone freak out over the 15%-off-all-keyboards newegg deal, coinciding with the 1st day of availability of the g710+!
lol.
