Title: CM Storm Trigger (10key, browns, backlighted) is $80 AR at Amazon

You have to choose Amazon from the "more buying choices" list on the right.  There's a $10 rebate here: http://g-ecx.images-amazon.com/images/G/01/00/00/26/91/19/26/2691192690._V386980879_.pdf

Thinking about buying this one but I'm not sure... I haven't seen anyone discuss this board much since it came out in late 2011.

I'm somewhat of a mechanical keyboard noob... I remember reading about how the CM Storm Quickfire Rapid was made by the same company that makes really good quality keyboards, but the Quickfire Pro (with 10key) was made by a lower quality manufacturer. What's the case with the Storm Trigger, does anyone know?

Carter is a CM rep that pops over here when he has some free time...

As for your question.  I'd recommend getting CM Storm QuickFire rapid with MX Red, since it's made by Costar.  While CM Storm Trigger and CM Strom QuickFire Pro are made by iOne.

Costar manufactures Filco, WASD Keyboards, Das Keyboards, ThermalTake Mekka G1... etc
iOne manufactures Razer Blackwidow, iOne, Max Keyboards, QPad, XAmor... etc

In short Costar > iOne build quality.

First of all, Trigger is made by Costar.

Second of all, both Reds and Blues are on the way but will be about 1.5-2 months before they hit the channels.

So the Trigger is made by Costar same as the QFR.

Also note that it shows as shipping in 1-2 months when Amazon is selected.

Wish I would've noticed this before.
Shows out of stock now.

I think I will probably wait for blackfriday and hope something shows up then.
