So I am getting acclimated with my new poker, and am trying to fully understand the dip switch options. From what I was able to find:
SW 1 ON: Lock left windows key
SW 2 ON: Windows_L, ALT_L swap position
SW 3 ON: Caps, Ctrl_L swap position
SW 4 ON: Windows_L becomes FN_L
Can someone put a little narrative around those just to clarify what they do? Is there any way to use the RIGHT win key or context menu key as FN Lock?

Switch 1: Locks left windows key
Switch 2: Left windows key swaps with left alt
Switch 3: caps switches places with left control
Switch 4: Left windows become FN
I have 1 and 3 turned "on", here's what it looks like:

So as you can see I only have one alt on the left, controls are the same, FN keys on both sides of the spacebar (they are the portal keys), one windows key on the right, one app menu on the right and then another control.

I am doing pre-purchase wondering about those switches myself.
When SW 4 is ON, do you suddenly have TWO Fn keys?
Thanks in advance,

I think when all the switches are off you have no FN key. DIP #4 makes the left winkey a FN key.
Thanks beast, that is helpful....I still don't fully understand #1 - by lock does that mean the left winkey is just disabled and does nothing when pressed?
-
Just curious, as I am awaiting the arrival of my first Poker: what are the default out-of-the-box DIP-switch settings? I want to know if it will be worth changing them or not...

I don't have 1 on, but I would assume that it disables it for gaming since a lot of people seem to like that
When no dip switches are on, I think there is still a Fn key(edit, right alt is FN key by default). But I turned 1 and 3 on right away and just learn the board like that. I would do some testing for yourself and read the manual and decide what layout it best for you

That makes sense. Thanks for the help!!
A wiki article would be great...I found some great info at http://deskthority.net/news-reviews-f4/kbc-poker-sixty-s-take-t125.html

Thanks for sharing.

Yes, disable Lwin totally, it does nothing. I have that enabled on mine. Lwin need to DIE!

I am more confused now. Sorry.
Whichever switches you have set to ON, the picture shows that you did end up with an Fn_L and an Fn_R, and I assume they both enable the function keys identically.
Is that correct?

That explains it!
From the article:
By pressing FN+Spacebar, you can enable the “arrow lock” mode.
When activated, the Windows key, Application key, Ctrl and Shift keys on the right side of the keyboard will permanently act as arrow keys!
So
SW 4 ON: Windows_L becomes FN_L
plus
FN+Spacebar
and a few new keycaps gives me exactly what I want!
Thanks all!

So I just got done modding my poker to ergo clears...with the exception of the switches that had LEDs. Is my assumption correct that the only way to get into the LED switches is to de-solder?
-
You would need to desolder the led yes.

Switch 1: Locks left windows key
Switch 2: Left windows key swaps with left alt
Switch 3: caps switches places with left control
Switch 4: Left windows become FN
I have heard that Pokers have the dipswitches backwards, but mine has them as they're listed in the manual. I have switch 1 on and my left windows is my second function. I wonder why.

On both of mine, dip 4 is winlock and so on. Production error I guess? They put the dipswitch in upside down? On both mine the number closest to the usb port is 1.
