How can I distinguish fake and original cherry switches? I have never seen fake cherry switch. Those fake switch are made by Kaihua(kailih). They don't have the Cherry Logo and TM on the switches.
TVS Gold is about the same price and comes with REAL Cherry switches.

Someone needs to be the first courageous souls to buy that thing, even if he's just gonna badmouth it later. We're all curious about this thing and how bad it is. :p
Well, there's already articles about one of its variations here:Yeah I never though I see Yellow stems.

I think it uses the same switches.
But.... I think we'll never see this happen with Cherry switches, even on the worst iOne keyboards...Show Image(http://42.120.41.196/data/attachment/forum/month_1108/1108251341e9c4c22c0f404d44.jpg)

But honestly I only seen that happen with metal keycaps where the step got stick or some idiot used glue to keep the keycaps in place.
Even then you more than likely pull out the whole stem assembly over just snapping off the stem
What do they Rip0meter at?brb...
Very interesting! So what's it like to use? Is the plate plastic? Has it disintegrated into dust and scraps of tape yet?Haven't typed on it yet. It's more of a project board, I immediately began disassembling it as soon as I got it. I really have no interest in typing on it until I receive the MX Clear switches for it (I'm sure mkawa has shipped them out by now...)
Man at $39 it seems worth the extra money to just get a CM QFR with MX Blacks at $51 if the $40 off coupon still works. Then you at least get normal stabilizers and decent keys.
Well their caps may be compareable to Razer's. ><
At least it is programmable?
Take another picture but shine a light on it. Can't see the sabilizer.
Herm... the springs might be worth it for that price... Korean 50g springs! How many keys does this thing have? Also, the switches are linear, yes?Yes, these are linear switches... and I'm too lazy to count exactly how many keys there are, but I estimate there are 92 keys total. Which means there are 84 red Kailh switches and 8 Cherry Black switches on this board...

Looks like someone has been busy mixing silicone!
Hope this is not true glass otherwise this measuring cup is gonna be hard to clean
Looking at the pictures of the stabilisers on the last page, it looks like they've used the kind that can be found in most rubberdome keyboards. I've seen them used in a Dell rubberdome, where the metal rods are clipped into the key itself which then hook onto the little hooks on the keyboard plate. No doubt one of the ways in which they cut costs to produce this keyboard so cheaply. They are also a little like cherry MY stabilizers.
