Title: Filco/PLU Custom Keyboard Case from Qtan
Post by: Hyde on Wed, 24 October 2012, 23:18:13
This look like a cheaper alternative to those Korean custom cases, anyone have any experience with this?  I'm curious in the quality, otherwise I think it look very nice.

That's been around for a while. It'll fit filco fine, but some areas are a pretty tight squeeze.

Depends on your preferences. For me personally, edges are too far out from the keys so it's a larger footprint than a normal filco case, and also colors are too flashy. Not my cup of tea.

Only other TKL case is also made by MKC, which is over $350 shipped though. You don't really have any other choices.

LOL oh yeah I saw that aluminium case.  Look very nice but I can't bring myself to spend $350 on a case, I'd rather get a topre/hhkb  :P

Thanks for the replies though  :)

Seems like everyone likes the MKC case but don't want the spend the $$$

Maybe someone should start an IC with some metal shops?  :D
