Anyone getting those bad boys for their mom/dad/aunt/uncle?  ;D

EDIT:  Rubber dome, not mechanical.  But should be good enough for their mom/dad/aunt/uncle... etc.

lol you shouldn't post that on a mechanical keyboard forum. You might trick someone into getting it.

Erm the header says "geekhack keyboard enthusiasts", which would imply that we could discuss non-mechanical keyboards :)

So long as they aren't garish or pure membrane, right? The only large font keyboard I've ever liked is the DSI Big Font.

My parents would like that.  They can't see anything up close.

LOL yes I knew I remember this being a "keyboard forum" and not strictly mechanical keyboards.  I mean logically I won't recommend this big font keyboard to any high end users like us.  But I think for it's intended purpose it's great.  It's big, lights up (easier to see), and cheap.  So if your parents breaks it by accident you won't feel too bad (my dad spilled tea on his keyboard once so it's bound to happen).

I was thinking of getting a Matias Quiet Pro for my parents or maybe a Corsair K60 keyboard (I'll be taking the contoured, textured WASD keys for myself though, heh).  They can see okay but I think they would benefit from a lighter keystroke.

I shall rename the keyboard the "Works well when you're too drunk to type" keyboard.

^ One with built-in error-correction would be nice in those situations ;)
