Hi All,
Quick question for you all. Does anyone know the sizes of the CTRL Key modifiers on a QPAD MK80. I down own the keyboard but am looking at getting some caps for him as a gift but cannot find anything out about the board.
I've googled and checked out the forum search too but nobody has anything saying if they are 1.25x or 1.5x size. Looking at it however my gut says they might be 1.5x.
If anyone knows I'd much appreciate the info.
Cheers.

They are 1.5x, same width as the tab-key. Windows keys are 1x, and space is 6x.

A 1× or 1 unit (http://deskthority.net/wiki/Unit) key is the spacing of the letter and number keys.
You can just measure from the LHS of the keycap in question, to the LHS of the adjacent keycap, and divide that distance by the keycap-to-keycap distance of the letter keys, which is typically 0.75 in, 19.05 mm.
In the case of my Filco though, the ratio of keycap widths themselves give me 1.25 for a modifier; the keycap-to-keycap distances give me 1.26!
Either way, you can just measure it directly if you don't have a reference source such as multipla :-P

Many thanks. Shame they are 1.5x not 1.25x. Ahh well.
Key cap gift idea out the window on that one. On to new ideas :D

I think the most difficult keycap to replace is the spacebar.
1.5x modifiers are actually quite common, many korean keyboards have them, too (there is an IC running right now with RGBYO modifiers that includes these modifiers (http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=36531.0 (http://here)), don't know what you want to buy, though :)
