Title: WTB Filco rubber foot
Post by: Bry on Mon, 05 November 2012, 13:11:42
I lost a rubber foot on the little flip out leg on one of my filcos. I used to carry it to and from work everyday, and it must have fallen off. Its just a little rubber thing that slides on the end of the leg. If anyone has a dead filco MJ2 laying around to sell parts off of, let me know ;)

lol it's probably cheaper getting parts off people but worst case scenario you can buy this:

Oh nice. I didn't realize TKC sold them. Too bad the shipping is like $30 T.T

Damn exchange rates

I have rubber sheets with adhesive backing that you might be able to cut to size and stick on the plastic foot.
This is the stuff right here: http://www.allelectronics.com/make-a-store/item/FP-3/100-x-54MM-RUBBER-PAD-W/ADHESIVE-BACKING/1.html
PM me your address, I'll mail you a piece.

I PM'd you but it's not showing up in my sent folder. Let me know if you don't get a message.

This stuff might work, but I would much rather have the actual rubber foot, because it fits tight over the end of the plastic leg. Also, having both legs be the same is important to keep the keyboard from feeling wobbly.

Thanks
