Who bought that keyboard and is it still in use? Does it still have the xsphat sticker on the roof?

-
I bet they're long gone man, sorry.

Yeah, I sold it here so I thought someone might have it still. I'm not looking to buy it back, I just was curious. I sold a bunch of KBs to GeekHackers, but i was not on here for a long long time.

dont understand anyone would want a variable weight board over uniform

Variable weight for typing is pretty good, lets you put less effort for different fingers, mostly a preference thing though.
I can type faster on variable weight than constant weight at least.
-
What he said. I could only tell the difference if I very, very slowly pushed the different weighted keys one at a time with the same finger, just like you would NEVER do in real life.

Like they said, what is there to not understand? Are your fingers uniformly strong?

It sucks if you are a gamer and reposition your hand to use WASD for movement. (the standard position for gaming)

If you just use it for typing, and use proper technique, I don't think I would have a problem with a variable weight keyboard.
