gold plated spring is more elastic at mid range...than normal spring...

mid range - key stoke start(keycap top position) - mid range - end(keycap fully pressed at bottom position)

gold plated spring makes more elastic / bouncy feeling than normal same pressure spring
so gold plated spring is like feel more highly pressure springs..

62g gold plated = 65g  similar pressure
59g gold plated = 62g

but not same totally, elastic feeling is the feature of gold plated spring..

Was there a GB for all those springs over in Korea or is there a certain retailer who sells them?
I only tried the "normal" 62cN springs so far for ErgoClear and opted for those.
Now I am intrigued by the golden ones.

Choi Young Gyoo, in your opinion, what's best for ErgoClear?

(Sorry for derailing/hijacking this thread, but I understand that OP has found what he looked for. And sharing knowledge is always a good thing ;) )

Most springs are sold as Groupbuy at KBDmania, OTD
and some gold plated springs are made by someone that want to have them.

If you use kbd with regular 62g spring  (without fatigue, with satisfaction.)
use 59g gold plated...

or 62g so weak to you.. use 62g gold plated...

or 62g too hard or feel fatigue or pain...
use 55g gold plated springs....

but..most springs is cheap..and counting is not easy...
so many ppl bought 1000qtys springs...at once...or divided 500qtys.. with their friend...

and trade 100qtys or 200 qtys for something....

ps. I am newbie at kbd world ..^_^///

I really want to try out all kinds of springs, and all this information just makes me want to try them all even more. I am truly in search of my sweet spot at this point, so that I can put that in my KMAC. At least so far, I'm fairly certain I want them to be clicky (blue/green).

Hmm would they still be called "Ghetto Greens" if you put gold springs in blues?

Nope, green springs are a bit heavier than 65g korean springs. Green springs are equivalent to black springs.
