Could harvest some Cherry white on black doubleshots if MY isn't your thing

Nice and cheap, but they are often shiny as a mirror.
-
someday i'm going to go down there and try to pick out the better condition ones.....just haven't had a chance yet
-
last time i checked with them about two months ago they said they had 225 of the HPBUS models
-
Someone proxied one of these for me a while back (also from ocean-tech) and only a few keys were shiny! :)

Was that me? I think I remember it. It was just the keys, right? If it's the one I'm thinking of, he's right. The keys were in really good shape.
But I think it's probably just a matter of luck, to be honest. I have heard that contacting the seller is a way to sometimes make sure you get one that's not very shiny.

I might go next Friday. If you're up for it, let me know. I'll check their stock for any good condition keys in case other members may want them. =)

So are MY switch keycaps 100% compatible with MX switches?
-
The MY keys with stabilizers won't fit MX switches, but other keys should be fine.

Yeah that was you Dorkvader (:D) Just the keys indeed! They're in nice shape!
The numpad keys are worn the most, probably from use as a register. But using them for a TKL board so really didn't matter.

Doubleshots are 100% the same on both MX and MY boards, so is POM from all I have seen so far. Only the later pbt lasered have the incompatible stabilized keys, though they will work with costar style stabs.

I am sure lysol meant MY7000 boards. There are some incompatible doubleshot key caps from MY8000 boards with x1.25 modifiers, in particular bottom row (control, alt, spacebar, windows). Spacebar is useless (has built in stabilizers) and other bottom row keys have off center stem.
-
Those aren't doubleshots though... the off center bottom row 1.25 keys on G81-3000/8000 are always pad print or lasered.

Right! But from perspective a buyer without prior knowledge, they wouldn't know that those caps are not double shot.

This might be worth mentioning, but theres a 20% off on these at the moment... price down to $7.99.

This basically means that here's more $20 used cherry Doubleshots, if you missed out before. If anyone needs mail forwarding, please see this topic (http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=37277.0). I can't speak for anyone else, but I'm willing to pull the keycaps off, to save on intl. shipping.

I see $9.99 + $13.21 shipping
-
How much is the shipping to US on them? (As in how much does it show to ship to you lot in the US)
-
About $13-14, plus say $1 more for every additional keyboard.
You can see it if you change the shipping options on ebay to the US and put in some random post code.
