Title: HHKB Pro 2 DIP switch option
Post by: OrpheusX on Mon, 19 November 2012, 12:45:20
So I just placed an order for a KBT Pure having learned I could use the Fn just to the right of the space bar in conjunction with the O, K, L, and ; as arrow keys. Now I'm wondering re: the HHKB Pro 2 if can set the right (and only the right) Meta key to act as a Fn key (via the DIP switches.) This would let me use my thumb to access the arrow functions on the ;, ', [, and ? keys instead of my poor pinky (on the right Fn.)

Any HHKB owners do this or know if it can be done?

Cheers!

Heh, that's actually the chart that made me think there might be a solution. But there really isn't anything there that suggests that the two keys are treated separately. So I think whiskerBox is correct. I am sad.

Thanks to you both.

I know it seems weird, but making the switch from a poker to an HHKB was very easy and I much prefer the arrow cluster on the HHKB.
