I bought this Filco Majestouch Linear R Limited Edition from Army Group a year or so ago.  It's brand new in the box, never used (just opened it to take the photo).

I wonder the same. I have the MJ2 with reds at the moment, with ninja caps.

The difference is marketing. The Fico Majestouch Linear R was introduced in early 2011 and was a limited edition production. The demand for keyboards with MX reds was sufficiently high that they now produce the MJ2 with reds.

Honestly for $135 this is a killer deal.  If I didn't have my Ducky Shine 2 with Reds...I know where this month's money would go...

Ah, I wonder if my dad wanted Reds instead of Blues.  Not sure, he was into the clicky thing. Let me talk to him and I'll get back to you tomorrow.  If he wants Reds, he'll love a Filco.  I'll keep you posted.
Good Christmas gift, and I'm getting out of school and about to get a pretty decent job :)
