Title: My 7970 died... VRM problem it seems...

Put in an order for the Asus Matrix 7970  Platnum off amazon for $500.. Damn thing is out of stock, but it's the ONLY card with supposedly bulletproof VRM

Any other suggestions? because it might take a while to ship or come back in stock.

I thought about the MSI lightning, but it doesn't have dualink dvi for my 30"  :'(

I'm also not considering Nvidia, because all their new cards are voltage locked, and they're slower in most cases. I don't care about power consumption.  :))
