Title: Choc Mini Question(s)
Post by: HRS2K on Wed, 21 November 2012, 11:29:27
I am new to the mod world of mechanical keyboards so like typical, I have questions. I tried to search the forum but did not find a clear answer. I am not sure if I didn't use the correct keywords or look at the correct tread.

So I am in the market for a Noppoo Choc Mini. I want to mod it with Ergo-clears (brown spring) or Panda Clears. I am not sure yet but where would I go about getting clear switches?

I also a while back I saw a very sexy looking Choc Mini in the classifies and wanted to know where I could find a case and the key caps for this mini.

I did notice that space bar row look like 1.5x caps and the right shift key look like the size of tsangan kit.

Can anyone get me started in the right direction?

Thanks in advance!!

With a Choc you'll need to desolder the switches before you can mod them. Your best bet is to camp the classified in search for the clear stem or switches.

The MX-Mini is a custom Korean Keyboard what is similar to the Choc but uses 1.5mods, 7x spacebar, and 1800 shift. You can try to camp the Korean forums for a MX-Mini but be prepared to fork up $150+
