I wonder what kind of "super discount" they might award if I sent a 1000 word essay on why I would discourage anyone considering a TE keyboard from buying one even though I do think it has a lot going for it.

Dafaq?

Clever.
After writing 2000 words, you'll be in such pain that by the time the new board arrives, you'll feel like it's a relief no matter how terrible it is!

LOL!

My hands hurt thibking about it.

If I write 10 000 words, do I get a voucher for the remapping software?
On the plus side, it sounds like they got fed up writing their marketing copy...
I think the offer is, well, not even wrong. The unicomp offer is pretty good in comparison.

They will end up using anything submitted as customer testimonials I'm sure. Very strange contest though. At least in the last one they actually do as for a bit of criticism on their keyboard design.

Xsphat should submit something.. ;)

I have been looking at the TE for a while now, and when I saw the promotion for a possible hefty discount for essays, I jumped on it.
I wrote an essay and submitted it to them and a few days later I received a coupon code for $100 off! I was very happy, and it helped me make the decision to purchase one.
I was pleased with the overall build and was starting to get used to the layout, but unfortunately, it has two faulty keys and they won't respond to my e-mailed support requests or RMA request.

Oh boy.... Seems they do have a way of shooting themselves in the foot like that.

I don't get it, what happened? Can anyone explain? :(

Write a long essay and get a free keyboard.
