Is thekeyboardco a reliable vendor from which to buy a filco tkl? I live in the us. All of their prices are in euros; do they take paypal?

Yes, they are reliable and even have a vendor forum on here.. http://geekhack.org/index.php?board=54.0
Yes, they take paypal (it says on the side of their website what payment methods they take.)

I think some of their stuff is available to the US through Amazon. You might get cheaper shipping, or avoid duty and brokerage fees, if that's even an issue for you guys. Just an idea...

Go with Amazon if you can but if you can't, KeyboardCo were very fast for me in the US. :)

The price is listed in British Pounds. I've ordered a beige Filco from there because at the time it's the only place that sells it.
Shipped to Canada pretty fast (3-4 days) though we got charged $60 from customs for 2 keyboards. From what I heard customs charge randomly, you might get charged and you might not :P

USA does not have "customs", "duty", "tarrifs", all just a fancy way of saying "tax". At least not from Britain. I have bought stuff from Britain lots of times. Its all tax-free.
Its pretty funny. If you live in Britain and buy a Filco you must pay a 17.5% tax.
But if you live in USA you pay a 0% tax. :p ;D

Ha. VAT in the UK has been 20% for a while now (changed on 4th January 2011).
