3700's are much more stylish if you can find one. Why do people want those ugly Filco numpads anyway? (No offense intended if you think the filco numpads look cool, just my opinion and a question)

What exactly is ugly on a Filco numpad?  :(

And as you said, the 3700 is hard to find and only stylish when you have a vintage set-up. Next to an SSK, the 3700 might look quite good.

Next to a Filco TKL, i find it more "stylish" to have Filco numpad.

You see that gigantic shiny metallic FILCO? -> Ugly.

EDIT: Plus the shape irks me.

3700 is stylish next to cherry boards, though I don't own an SSK.

Mmmh okay, taste can be different. But when you own a Filco you are used to that branding anyway. Even Cherry has "ugly" brandings. At least on their keyboards. But i guess, the best would be to have a custom metal case for the numpad.  :D

Was looking at it there the other day, decent price. And usually only costs an extra $5 to use a proxy company such as Tenso.

I have G80-3700 (New in box) too, it's only Black switch but i like Filco TKP because i like Brown or Ergo Clear or Black Vintage switch. Filco TKP is only Brown switch.

p/s: your keycap in your G80-3700 was modified ? it's not original new.

Not everyone can find a 3700 that easily bro. They don't grow on trees the last time I've checked

My 3700 is a NIB Mode 4 from nntnam with black doublehots from 3 NIB POS boards and red switches from 7bit's SwitchBuy. I think it's pimpin'. 3700 > Filco TKP.

Why do people pay so much for those Filco TKP's? I just don't understand the appeal...

3700's DO grow on trees in Vietnam. But they were driven to extinction by us geeks.

The Filcos look pretty nice. It is on a tilt. I just don't want to get on at its price.

How much does the Cherry cost? The Cherry looks pretty nice too. The Filcos look heavier and smaller.

I'm not sure how much it would be on Amazon.jp as well as what the proxy would charge for shipping.

Amazon US and Japan don't ship to Canada.

I'm looking more for a used one for a cheaper price.

My 3700 was $33.65 shipped. It was a hell of a deal as used ones usually go for double.
