Hey guys, first post :<.
I've just recently bought my first mechanical keyboard, the Steelseries 6GV2.
I'm loving everything so far and it's beautiful to type on. As for gaming however, the bladed edge of a spacebar they've put on this thing is going to be a nightmare.
I've done some google-fu and looking around but I'm still a little puzzled as to whether/where I could get a new spacebar key cap that isn't so steep/sharp edged, as there seem to be differences in layouts between keyboards too.
The only source I've found at the moment seems to be here:

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

yea that a nice one really textured too the other thing you can try doing is putting your space on backwards so you thumb rests flat on it.

Just turned it around, I didn't realise these don't have the bars across like conventional keyboards. Seems like my problem's solved already! Still, I can't believe they made the slant on this thing so steep. I never even realised there was a community dedicated to key caps until today, so hopefully I source out a replacement for this spacebar regardless.
I'm going to start looking into other key caps, seen a variety of different types but not quite sure what the perks/preferences in them are just yet.
Thanks again for the tip.

Do you have this version :

Or THIS version ?

When ordering custom-caps for a steelseries, you really need to pay attention to the details .
'Standard' Cherry/Filco-sets will not fit perfectly, due to the layout-weirdness caused by the HUGE-ASS Enter-key .
I have the Nordic-layout version and as much as I love the keyboard (It just has that good old 'bomb-proof' feel to it)
it's a bloody nightmare to pimp it ..
The nordic-layout requires caps from both a 1800 and 3000 series cherry board and you STILL
have a problem with 'Capslocks', 'Enter' and the cap that must be placed on a row it wasn't made for ..

Also there is a bar across the bttom but its under the plate on that board.
