Post by: kardinal on Mon, 03 December 2012, 20:34:36
Hi everyone,

New to this forum, so bare with me :)
I guess a quick fact about my mechanical keyboard adventure would be that my first mechanical keyboard is a DAS Professional.

Anyway,

Hope to see you all around the forums!

yeah it's really nice, but I think I'm starting to want to try out a different switch other than mx blues.
So I've been looking into brown boards lately... Probably a tenkeyless version since I would prefer something a bit different.

You'll get a board with MX browns, then start to wonder what reds and blacks are like.

Then you will read about MX greens, and have to try those.

Then you'll have to try to decide which board to let go so you can get some keycaps in the latest group buy.

Oh boy... haha I can see where that's headed.
But have you tried the reds or the browns?
Which one is your preference?

I haven't tried reds or browns.  I was going to go for browns (from blues), but ended up getting blacks, which I really like.  Reds are lighter blacks, so I'm not sure I'd like those as much.

I would like to try greens, but my budget does not permit at the moment.
