The shipping cost is high....

That is the Norwegian layout one. There is a qwertz layout one with trackball for $15 more.
There have been two threads on them over on DT.
The seller was selling them for 40€ and 25€ shipping, but supply and demand. Price is way up.
Awesome looking boards IMO
-
Yeah because of the interest over at DT the sellers inflated the price. lysol picked one up I think when it was at a lower price. Don't think he's received it yet though.
-
Also bought one of these. Here are two pics: http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=33130.msg724906#msg724906
-
I also got one of these. both Lysol's and mine arrived in the US, but tracking hasn't been updated since. So maybe sometime this week they will arrive for us as well :)
-
Looks pretty good, those keys were never maid for ANSI right? And are those MX Clears?

they are MX Clear switches. Lots more pictures from people in Europe who got them already here: http://deskthority.net/marketplace-f11/some-kind-of-ragnarok-set-red-on-black-skidata-keyboards-t4392-120.html
leesofi has the only known ANSI set, so they were made at some point for some product in ANSI
-
Hehe yeah, I only paid 69EUR for mine German version with the trackball. leesofi first set they had wasn't ANSI, just US ISO. Unless the set he just got is ANSI. In any case the ANSI version of enter and so on can exist soon enough as they can simply be ordered from GMK.

Very cool. Just out of curiosity, are you guys buying because you like/want the keyboard? Or just like the parts and want to take it apart?
-
I'm drying my key caps right now after cleaning them with denture tabs.
Some keys have some shine on them but nothing to worry about.

I bought the keyboard because of the key caps but I want to harvest those MX Clear too after trying them.
Also I have to try it yet but I think the trackball may fit the Logitech M570.
-
I bought it for the entire thing originally, but since most report the trackball and entire top half of the boards as non function, I will probably disassemble if that is the case. I consider keeping for collection purpose, but I don't think it will fit in the shelf because of the depth. Still not decided totally. Will have to see when it arrive.
-
Ah I see. Regardless, I'm looking forward to some nice pictures once you guys get yours :)
I saw some from DT and they look great! I don't use ISO so I don't think I'll be hunting for a set
-
I'm interested in the clear switch only and some of the caps you can relabel,
It's around 120$ shipped to me,
if someone is only interested in the caps we can work something out
keys 65$ shipped EU and 70$ shipped worldwide
pm me if you are interested

The shipping cost is high....
EUR 17,90 is the shipping-cost ..
That is not 'high' AT ALL .
I just shipped a IBM-board to China, it cost me 330 DKr = 44 Euro !!
Comrade, you should not be telling westerners about 'high costs' ,
millions of us have lost our jobs because the Chinese will work a full month for 2-400 US$;
and they even say Thank You !.
Sorry, I don't know you, I have nothing against You, or any other people for that matter, but it needs to be said .
You are living in a dream-economy, we are paying the price !
Regarding the keyboard : It isn't Norwegian Layout, it's Danish .
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keyboard_layout#Norwegian
If you think nice Cherry Cyrillic-caps (DS or Dye-sub) are rare ....
Try finding a black/white Danish/Norwegian set !!
This one is Black/ORANGE !
For me, as a Dane, it is close to Keycap-Heaven.. If only it hadn't been a 1800-Board :(

I think it used to be 40 Euro to ship to USA. This seems about right if the weight is 6-7 Lbs or so.

£75 shipped to the Uk is a great price considering how many clears you get, along with the caps too. If I turn out to like clears this will definitely be on my purchase list with 2 Pokers. Could easily fill a couple of Pokers with the switches on there.

You my friend, need a bigger shelf!
