I've been after an IBM model M for a while. I'd prefer ISO gb layout but ANSI would be OK too.
I've watched ebay quite a bit but they all seem to be in the US which makes shipping extortionate.
Any ideas for sourcing one here?

Just be patient. One will turn up.
I would have expected them to be fairly common over there, as many as were made in Greenock. Heck, I even got a Greenock 42H at a salvage store here in Georgia!

I have a non-Lexmark Model M from Greenock (1996) in good shape. But shipping to the UK is $61. If you'll pay for shipping, I'll give you the board for free, if you promise to give it a good home.
I have too many keyboards. :/

I'm going to look around and see what I can find. I'm inclined to wait until after Christmas and see what pops up on ebay then.
If I find nothing and your offer still stands jdcarpe then I'll take you up on it. It really is very generous.

No problem. I know that international shipping gets expensive.

Did you get one in the end? If not, drop me a PM — I’m selling mine to clear space in my overcrowded flat.

I never actually did.
How much are you asking for it?

I’ve sent you some mail.
